The Gay Conservative Network, a bold and unapologetic voice in the conservative movement, has announced plans to launch a new Turning Point USA (TPUSA) chapter in Daytona Beach, Florida. This non-student chapter will be one of the first of its kind, blending identity-driven activism with traditional conservative values in a space that proudly declares: “We are proud. We are conservative. We are unapologetically gay.”
The announcement comes as TPUSA reports receiving over 121,000 chapter requests nationwide, signaling a massive surge in grassroots interest across diverse communities. The Daytona Beach initiative stands out not only for its message but for its mission to challenge stereotypes and offer a political home to those who’ve felt excluded from both mainstream conservatism and LGBTQ+ activism.
“This isn’t just about politics—it’s about authenticity,” said one of the network’s organizers. “We believe in freedom, faith, family, and the Constitution. And we’re not afraid to say it with conviction.”
Unlike traditional student-led TPUSA chapters, this new branch will welcome adults from all walks of life, creating a space for learning, connection, and cultural engagement. Events are expected to feature high-energy speakers, vibrant aesthetics—including the group’s signature purple lighting—and a message that defies conventional labels.
With TPUSA’s national momentum and the Gay Conservative Network’s local passion, Daytona Beach may soon become a hub for a new kind of conservative activism—one that’s loud, proud, and ready to lead.
